Kuncea is a wild shrub that grows on the southern coast of Australia and Tasmania and has been used by Aboriginal people for centuries. The kunzea has a bulbous crown and bizarre flowers and is often referred to as the “white cloud”.
Kunzea essential oil derived from this plant is similar in properties and uses to tea tree oil, but has a more pleasant aroma and a milder effect when applied to the skin. It contains high levels of alpha-pinene and eucalyptol, so it helps to soothe tired muscles and reduce the appearance of skin imperfections.
