Copaiba. Copaiba langsdorfii/langosdorfii

Botanical family: Caesalpiniaceae

Country of origin: Brazil

The essential oil of Copaiba contains a record amount of beta-caryophyllene (up to 72%), a substance with strong anti-inflammatory properties (for comparison, the essential oil of Gozdika and Immortelle, which are also considered rich in this substance, contains only 5 to 12% caryophyllene , and even in black pepper no more than 20%).
Caryophyllene is comparable in anti-inflammatory activity not only with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (such as ibuprofen or diclofenac), but even with corticosteroid hormones (prednisolone, dexamethasone)! But at the same time, it does not have the side effects of these drugs, for example, it has an extremely positive effect on the gastric mucosa (it can be used for peptic ulcer).

There are several types of Copaiba – black (Protium), white (Blanco), golden (Oro), but only Copaiba langsdorfii/langosdorfii essential oil is the most powerful. Healers in the Amazon have used the resin of this tree for relief from all kinds of pain and inflammation, taken internally (ulcers and stomach cancer) and used externally (skin diseases and insect bites).

It has a pronounced regenerating effect and can be used to improve the healing of wounds, cuts, calluses, burns (including sunburns, including in children) and frostbite.

Acts as: analgesic, analgesic, antispasmodic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, stimulant (circulation and respiratory system), mucolytic, expectorant, hypotensive, vasodilator, diuretic, antiulcer, antitumor, anticarcinogenic.

Recommended for: internal inflammation, external inflammation, respiratory diseases, bronchitis, sinusitis, sore throat, tonsillitis, herpes, urinary tract infections, kidney diseases, bladder diseases, cystitis, bleeding, hemorrhage, circulatory disorders, stomach ulcers, ulcers 12- duodenal ulcer, gastric cancer, arthritis, rheumatism, pain injuries, bruises, systemic lupus erythematosus, thrush, vaginitis, tumors, gonorrhea, wounds, skin diseases, ulcers, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis, nail fungus, insect bites, inflammation of the skin.

Copaiba essential oil enhances the effectiveness of other oils, as does Peppermint essential oil.
One of the few oils that can help with urinary incontinence; for example, in menopausal women with weakening of the pelvic muscles and involuntary urination during coughing or laughing.

Spiritual and Emotional Effects: Copaiba oil has long been used for bleeding, internal and external wounds. There is a significant spiritual influence in this. We have emotional wounds and traumas that we continue to hold onto ourselves, thereby projecting victim consciousness into our future. Copaiba allows you to see emotional traumas, cleanse them, feel spiritual protection, be in a state of “here and now”, and not run away to the past and future.

Mindfulness: This sweet and balsamic fragrance is relaxing, uplifting and grounding.
