Historical information:
Angelica comes from the Greek word “angelos” meaning “messenger”.
In folk medicine, angelica has been used as a stimulant and tonic.

Angelica is known as the root of the Holy Spirit or oil of the angels. And it blooms on the day of the feast of the Archangel Michael, which is why it got its name.
Angelica is said to have been used in the 1600s. Paracelsus recorded that the stems were chewed as early as 1660!
The plant was also used to purify the air. Seeds and roots were burned for spiritual purification.

Medicinal properties: has properties that help to calm the muscles after physical exertion, anticoagulant, soothing, antispasmodic.

What to use for: Throat/lung infections, poor digestion, menstrual problems/PMS, symptoms of dementia.

Angelica essential oil promotes emotional well-being. Called the oil of the angels, it brings spiritual awareness and promotes a sense of inner peace.

dilute 1:1 with vegetable oil or V-6 oil
apply 1-3 drops to the affected area
for oral administration, place in a capsule if needed

inhale from the palms of your hands or from a bottle
apply to chakras
use during meditation
5-8 drops in a diffuser, 30 minutes 3 times a day, or as needed
in the bath 5-6 drops per emulsifier
enrichment of cosmetics: 2 drops per 10 ml base.

Use for pets: Yes. Have your pets sniff it straight from the vial, or place a drop or two in the palm of your hand and then let it smell. Or place a drop in the palm of your hand and pat from head to toe.
