CARAWAY
Caraway essential oil is obtained by distilling tender cumin seeds harvested from plants grown in Finland, one of the largest cumin exporting countries in the world.
Historically, cumin is one of the oldest cultivated spices, so old that experts cannot agree on its true origin. Cumin has been found in food dating back to 3000 BC. and was used in ancient cultures, including ancient Egyptian.
Action:
Thinning phlegm, expectorant.
Cholagogue (facilitates the evacuation of bile from the gallbladder to the intestines, stimulates the secretion of bile by the liver).
Appetite regulator, digestive stimulant, spasm reliever, carminative, antiparasitic, diuretic, draining, purgative, digestive stimulant, laxative, nervous system tonic, general stimulant.
Regenerating skin, regulator of the hormonal system.
Indications:
Acute catarrhal bronchitis.
Hepatobiliary insufficiency, kidney disease, hormonal dysfunction.
Dyspepsia (nervous, emotional or functional), fermentation in the intestines, aerophagia (belching), accumulation of gases in the intestines, loss of appetite, indigestion, intestinal parasites, stomach cramps, accumulation of toxins,
infected wounds, swelling, scabies.
Mental fatigue, lack of energy, mental stress, migraine.
Application and dosage:
use undiluted
the oil is considered safe (GRAS) for internal use by the FDA –
Apply 2-4 drops to wrists, temples, forehead, back of neck, behind ears
apply 1-3 drops to the affected area
for oral administration, place in a capsule, 2 times a day, if necessary
inhale from the palms or from a bottle –
5-8 drops in a diffuser for 30 minutes 3 times a day, or as needed
in the bath 5-6 drops per emulsifier
